Here are the some of the contents of our exhibits.
▼ Coolant through motor spindle: CTM-4020
A drilling example using a new coolant through motor spindle CTM-4020, which is capable of 30 MPa high-pressure coolant, was exhibited!
It was drilling φ0.5 mm × depth 6 mm through holes in stainless steel 303.
[Point]
Compared with the tool manufacturer’s recommended cutting conditions, the CTM-4020 has increased the feed rate by 2 times, resulting in a significant improvement in processing efficiency.
▼ Coolant through motor spindle: CTMF-3130
*The video shows a conventional coolant through spindle CTS-2630. The CTMF-3130 is shorter in overall length than the conventional CTS-2630 + motor, making it easier to install in tight spaces.
A new coolant through motor spindle CTMF-3130, which will be available next spring, was exhibited in advance!
It is capable of 20 MPa high-pressure coolant and it is compatible with a new E3000i controller, which will also be available next spring.
A drilling example of φ1.0 mm × depth 20 mm through holes in stainless steel 304 was exhibited.
It was a drilling comparison between external lubrication (conventional products) and internal lubrication (coolant through motor spindle).

Compared with external lubrication, internal lubrication has increased the feed rate by 3.5 times, resulting in a 93% reduction in processing time.
▼ Flange motor spindle: BMF-3160
A new 60,000 min⁻¹ flange motor spindle BMF-3160, which will be available next spring, was exhibited in advance!
It is compatible with the new E3000i controller, which will also be available next spring.
A high-speed milling example with a R0.75 mm ball end mill against plastic mold steel PD613 (HRC 56) was exhibited.
A milling comparison between a machining center spindle at 20,000 min⁻¹ and the BMF-3160 flange motor spindle at 42,000 min⁻¹ was also exhibited.

Compared with the machining center spindle (conventional conditions), the high-speed rotation has increased the feed rate by 2.1 times, resulting in a 50% reduction in processing time!
▼ Air turbine spindle: HTS1500ZZ-M2040
A milling example using a new 150,000 min⁻¹ turbine spindle HTS1500ZZ for machining centers was exhibited!
It was high-speed rib machining with a R0.3 mm CBN ball end mill against plastic mold steel STAVAX (HRC 52).
A milling comparison between a machining center spindle at 30,000 min⁻¹ and the HTS1500ZZ turbine spindle at 150,000 min⁻¹ was also exhibited.

Compared with the machining center spindle (conventional conditions), the high-speed rotation has increased the feed rate by 2.5 times, resulting in a 56% reduction in processing time!
