This is an Air Quick Change Spindle. This spindle features a chucking method powered by pneumatics. The collet holder can be quickly and easily replaced using the ON/OFF air operation.
Since it uses a collet holder, tool set-up time can be drastically minimized due to the setting to be done outside of the machine.
