Equipping the deburring system with a Nakanishi high-speed spindle leads to a significant increase in productivity.

Automated Deburring Using a Robot Equipped with Two Spindles.
Machining of the remaining gate section using a high-torque spindle [BMS-5010] → Deburring of the outer parting line using a floating spindle [NR-3060 + EM-3030T-J + AF-30 (manufactured by FINE SYSTEM)]—a combination of a straight spindle and a FINE SYSTEM air-float attachment.

By equipping the robot hand with two spindles (a high-torque spindle and a floating spindle), we have achieved automation of the process from “machining” to “deburring.”


▽ Carbon Steel Parts: Automated Deburring
[Spindles: NR3060-AQC+EM-3060J]
 
We have succeeded in automatically deburring carbon steel parts (S45C) using the automatic tool-changing spindle [NR3060-AQC+EM-3060J] and Sanritsu Seiki’s deburring system (FCT System).

The floating system ensures a consistent contact pressure that conforms to the workpiece’s shape, enabling uniform processing.
Furthermore, the use of an automatic tool-changing spindle allows for quick, pneumatically operated attachment and removal of collet holders, contributing to automated tool changes and reduced downtime.
It offers flexible support for tools that wear out quickly and for switching between multiple tools, and is compatible with tools of different shank diameters. 


▽ Automation of Deburring for Inverter Components
[Spindles: NR-3060+EM-3030T-J, NRF-3060S+EM-3060J]
 
A fully automated deburring and brush finishing process was achieved using a 7-kg portable robot that switches between two spindles.
《Key Points》
The tool changer manufactured by BL AUTOTEC, LTD. enables automatic switching between floating spindles and short spindles with flanges, efficiently automating the entire process from deburring to finishing.
The floating spindle [NR-3060 + EM-3030T-J + AF-30 (manufactured by FINE SYSTEM)], which incorporates an air-float attachment manufactured by FINE SYSTEM, follows the contour of the burr and absorbs unmeasured sections of the workpiece to contribute to stable machining and preventing over-cutting without the need for re-teaching.


▽ Chamfering the cross-drilled holes in a pipe with an inner diameter of φ21/font>
[Spindles: RAM-3014+EM-3030T-J]
 
By using the new “RAM-3014” Ultra-Compact-Head Angle Spindle, we have achieved internal cross-hole chamfering in pipes with an inner diameter of φ21.
《Key Points》
The RAM-3014 is the world’s smallest angle spindle*, enabling chamfering and deburring inside pipes with a minimum inner diameter of φ18.
